maine.pizza is a hunt for the best pizza in Maine: city pizzerias, gas station slices, general stores and everything in between. Except for the national brands with shit pizza that need no additional advertising.
How it works
Every spot is visited in person and scored on the same eight criteria, from the sauce to the cold slice the next day. The weighted average is the score; How we score has the math.
Spots get revisited, and the newest visit sets the score, so a place that gets better (or worse) shows it.
Ads never touch a score
A few clearly marked ads help cover the costs. Advertisers can’t buy a review, a better score or a higher spot in the rankings. Advertise explains how ads work.
